  • The worker inserts the metal structures and backrest locks

  • Automatic tightening of the backrest locks

  • Automatic feeding and assembly of various bearing parts

  • Picking up the carpets to be glued from a magazine system using a robot

  • Automatic insertion of carpets and metal structures into the rotary indexing table

  • Applying adhesive to the carpets

  • Heating and pressing of carpet and metal structure

  • Automatic removal and component marking

  • Documentation of all process data (torque and angle of rotation of screwing processes, carpet colors, temperature, amount of adhesive, etc.)

  • Automated transport of all components throughout the entire assembly process

Adhesive systems for trim parts

Plant description
  • System solution as a rotary indexing table system with four machining stations and parallel machining of two components to increase production capacity

  • Workplace safety via a contactless light protection system with rearward fall protection for ergonomic workplace design

  • Manual insertion of the various components by the worker

  • Tool systems with component holding molds and joining units for the attachments

  • Component holding molds with integrated part recognition and fixation

  • Automated adhesive application using two robotic systems as a bead application for the subsequent automated joining process

  • Monitored joining and cooling process of the adhesive bonds

  • Separate monitoring of the adhesive equipment with cyclical control of the conveying capacity and tool orientation

  • Automatic component removal using a robot system and transfer function to the subsequent system for further processing
