For the sixth time, AKE exhibited at the Automotive Testing Expo in Stuttgart. Over the past three days, we presented the latest technology for test bench construction and noise analysis. The event in Stuttgart is the world's largest trade fair for analysis and testing – more than 400 exhibitors showcased their new products.
Many representatives from OEMs, automotive suppliers and testing laboratories flocked to the halls to learn about the current state of the art and the latest market trends.
At our booth, we presented our 4-actuator vehicle test bench, specifically designed for noise analysis. Thanks to their compact design, AKE test benches are easily portable. Our shakers also require no seismic mass, making them ideal for integration into climate or acoustic chambers. Visitors to our booth learned about the various applications of our high-power vehicle shaker.
The EvoCarb, our component shaker with a carbon fiber vibration table, also attracted considerable interest from visitors. We demonstrated the test of an instrument panel, a typical application for the component shaker. The unique feature of our system is the simultaneous excitation of multiple axes, which promises even more realistic testing.
CAE Systems showcased their SoundCam at the booth opposite ours. This allowed us to demonstrate to trade fair visitors, using the acoustic camera, that AKE's test benches are exceptionally quiet and therefore ideally suited for noise analysis. Visitors could use the SoundCam to search for vibrations and rattles, gaining firsthand experience of the effectiveness of our shakers.
During the three days of the trade fair, we had many interesting conversations and made new contacts. We look forward to the next trade fairs!
